Villa Ferrata

Disembarking in the hamlet of Porto, to the left of a nucleus that dates back to the 18th century, on the shore, you can admire the Villa Ferrata (or Villa Solitudo), with a 16th-century layout and restored at the beginning of the 20th century. A wing towards the lake ends with a beautiful trabeated loggia; a seventeenth-century chapel with a perspective dome was erected adhering to the body of the villa; the Fenaroli coat of arms is carved on the portal: the family to whom we owe the building. Behind the villa there is a large enclosed orchard, with vines and olive trees. The villa is privately owned, so it can only be observed from the outside.
